Celebrate Ethiopian New Year with ECM!
Phalen Park Pavillion, St. Paul, 1pm-5pm
The Ethiopian Community of Minnesota are hosting their annual Ethiopian New Year celebration on Sunday, September 12, 2010 at Phalen Park Pavillion in St. Paul. We don’t have specific details but typically there are musical and dance performances, speeches from prominent political and Ethiopian community members, food concessions, a kids bouncer or two and a small merkato.
PS. The actual day for the New Year is September 11. Meskel (Orthodox Holiday of Finding the True Cross) is September 27th.
